2008: review

And now 2008: a review
1. was 2008 a good year for you?
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. But i grew so very much that I can't say it was bad.
2. what was your favorite moment of the year?
There is no way I could quantify my favorite moment of the year. It could be Disneyland with Amy. It could be the labyrinth ball. Meeting all sorts of new people. Apples to apples. (Helen Keller is a damn sexy beast, and yes. I'm going to hell) My birthday WEEK of motherfuckin WIN! Getting a job within three days of getting laid of, and having a LAW FIRM absolutely LOVE me.
3. what was your least favorite moment of the year?
Getting laid off from a place I actually enjoyed working was a big downer.
4. where were you when 2008 began?
Downtown San Diego
5. who were you with?
Sergio
6. where will you be when 2008 ends?
The house of Amy and Chris
7. who will you be with when 2008 ends?
some of my dear friends. The other halves of my heart will be at Shelly's, some in the cold of mass, new york, north carolina, and at the flame.
8. what did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
I did tons of new stuff. Karaoke. Joined a rocky horror cast. Worked in theatre. Working in a Law Firm. Finally have a grown up job type =P Figured out what I really wanted to do with my life. Took a big chance, it didn't pan out, but at least I took it.
9. did you keep your new years' resolutions, & will you make more for next year
I kept two of the four, and yes I will be making more this year.
10. did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope, not this year, last year tho they were breeding like crazy people.
11. did anyone close to you die?
Nobody that I was close to, but I feel for those who did =(
12. did you travel outside of the u.s. in 2008?
Nope, I want to make it down to Mexico sometime soonish.
13. how many different states did you travel to in 2008?
cali and mass.
14. what would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Get back into school. Find something worth having. Finished my second draft of my book and a bunch of the short stories. I need to get my words out of my head.
15. what date(s) from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, & why?
I'm not a date perosn. I can tell you stories like you wouldn't believe, but I can't remember dates.
16. what was your biggest achievement of the year?
I learned to love myself.
17. what was your biggest failure?
I had somethings that didn't turn out alright, but I hardly count them as failures. Milestones, learning steps, but not failures.
18. did you suffer any illness or injury?
I got sick as a dog over christmas, and I've had breathing issues.
19. what was the best thing you bought?
gifts for other people =) My sonic screwdriver!
20. whose behavior merited celebration?
Too many to count.
21. whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I was appalled, but not depressed and not surprised.
22. where did most of your money go?
Sushi. Rent. Who are we kidding =P
23. what did you get really, really, really excited about?
COMIC-CON! Its like geek mecca! Even though I didn't get to spend a lot of time there being able to go to the Doctor Who Panel, the Torchwood Panel, Grant Morrison, Stan Lee, and eating near Jewel Staite, stalking by Felicia Day, and being feet from NATHAN FILLION! Plus I got my sonic screwdriver, and jumped and snuggled a Doctor Cosplayer.

seeing my family

I try to make sure they never forget, every single day.

Very much.

Absolutely not.

Yes. That was an awkward conversation.

Mr. Snuggles and I have a love that dare not speak its name.

I slept with lots of people! Mostly Nicole! Whose hair is totally combed by birds EVERY DAY! I swear to goodness!
37. do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't hate anyone. I am dissappointed in someone, but I don't hate them. I kinda understand why they did what they did, doesn't make it any less shitty. But I get it, and I don't hold a grudge.
38. did you make any new friends in 2008?
UHM NO?!?! I HATE YOU ALL. Pffft. fuck yes. You fantastically awesome amazing wonderful people you. I could just lick you all. Unless you haven't gotten your bathing down, then don't talk to me.
