Cell phone, or land line?

I'm useless in advising the latter.

AT&T. They don't disable everything on your phone (see: Verizon) and make you void your warranty to put mp3s on it that aren't from their marketplace. They also have good customer service, discounts (depending on who you work for), and rollover minutes.

Ditto. Verizon's phones aren't as cute as other people's but their customer service is good. :)

i've had AT&T since it was Bell South, Cingular, etc... I mostly have it cause I've always had it. *shrugs* I've been fairly satisfied with it, though, and usually have pretty good service. :)

I have Verizon. They have the best coverage up here in the tundra.

T-Mobile, because it's technically a work phone and they're the dealer who gave us the best deal. =) Probably not a lot of help to you.

Verizon. A little more expensive but better coverage and most of my friends and family are on it and they are unlimited texted and calling to anyone on verizon. unlimited texts to anyone anywhere if you pay $5 a month extra.

I use Verizon. I like it well enough, although I still want an iPhone.

I don't love AT&T, but I love my iPhone. You know you want one...

Locally I've used Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. Of the three I've had the best service (customer and technical) from Sprint. Verizon is good coverage but the customer service was a nightmare (12 months to cancel service with several bills after cancellation going to collections only to have to explain to them that I quit the service months earlier).

I currently have AT&T solely because I wanted to use the iPhone. Now that I've discovered the poor software design and hardware limitations and mistakes of the iPhone I'd have avoided it like the plague (you'd think Apple would put more effort into it's biggest market penetrator).

Unless you're going for the iPhone I'd recommend Sprint (which is my current business cell phone and thus also a current service I use). Verizon would be a very close second.

I've had T-Mobile for YEARS. Since 2004-5ish. I've had no real problems with them, and they have great 24 hour customer service. My plan is 600 anytime minutes with free nights and weekends for $39.99 a month. Hope that helps you.
